What IS an Energy Practitioner?

Someone who senses at a very deep, soul level the energetics of the world and those around them—the emotions, frequencies, vibration to name a few.

Often times it means sensing and feeling things that science has yet to quantify or identify or measure—unless science is taking its cues from quantum physics. Our indigenous traditions and peoples from all over the world also relate to energies and frequencies, the leylines, the dragonlines, as well as communicating with the very land Herself.

As an energy practitioner, study is required.

Training.

It is the process of going from someone who senses and feels things, to learning how to work with what these energies are, where they are coming from, and what is needed in each moment, place, or circumstance.

My training as an energy practitioner initially began with crystal healing.

I am a Master Crystal Healer, Energy Alchemist, Elemental Healer, Soul Shift Healer, and Initiated Priestess, certified through the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM) with Dr. Athena Perrakis at Sage Goddess from 2020-2022.

My studies with Athena and crystal healing were the foundation and opening into my work as an energy healer—although as I’ve already shared, my first and most profound teachers have been my children, Kate and Eric.

As I began working with clients as a crystal healer, it became clear from my intuitive, felt sense that this particular work was more of a Band-Aid. The crystal healing was not getting to the deeper root, the core, of my client’s challenges.

This was when the door opened for me to study a new quantum healing modality, created by Padma Khandro Victoria Sinclair. I was a student of hers for three years, taking many courses she offered, most which centered on inner healing and self-mapping.

I completed her Quantum Transfiguration Level 1 and Level 2 training, which includes teachings on Internal Family Systems, Gene Keys, and more.

I also speak light language, which is a sound, frequency, healing vibration that is channeled through and from my higher consciousness to yours.

This is not a language of words, but goes beyond words. It goes into the deeper realms that connects us, soul-to-soul. It brings messages from the soul, as well as clears energy from a person’s field, or even the land.

My most powerful, potent teacher of light language did not come from an adult or a trained “master,” but my son, Eric.

From Eric’s birth, his default language was not English, but light language—this speaking through sound and vibration, speaking beyond words.

He awakened my ability to first listen—to him and his needs—and to then respond in this same way to him, which again was something my soul was quite familiar with though I had to remember in this life.

Eric has been my primary teacher in light language this for eleven years. I have worked deeply with other wonderful teachers, Dean Marston, James Potts, and my dear friend, Shelley.

I also hold the Munay-Ki Andean shamanic rites, brought through to me by a dear friend and fellow energy practitioner, Katy Gilmour.

I have alchemized all these teachings, the life lessons and experiences brought to me through my children, evolutionary astrology, the crystal healing, the light language to create my own modality—Intuitive Quantum-Astrology Healing.

In these healing sessions, I work with any sticky parts in a client. Those stories, areas, or traumas that, despite their best efforts, the client can’t move or get passed. Those areas that have become frozen in time, which usually means there’s something in the client’s system—a wound, a part, an exiled child, a story—that is needing to be witnessed or acknowledged in some way.

Using heart connection, curiosity, compassion, and caring, myself and the client go beyond this ‘here-now’ moment and into the deeper fields around us all… the collective, the morphogenic field, the zero point gravity field, the multidimensional, as well as the ancestral field.

Together we uncover whatever the unresolved story is and bring witness and acknowledgment to those parts, and to clear anything that is ready to be cleared.

When paired with astrology, this weaving in of the client’s birth chart and the current planetary transits, becomes a very potent, powerful healing modality that cuts to the core of whatever the client is working with and moving through.

As an energy practitioner, we each have our different skillsets and areas of mastery.

For myself and because of my children, and their four and five years of being non-verbal, I have many years of experience working with this non-verbal realm. I’ve had many clients show up to a session with a non-verbal part or a very, very young inner child (even still in the mother’s womb) because I carry those codes in my field.

Their non-verbal parts feel safe and know they do not need words to communicate with me.

I have also been blessed with the opportunity to work with magical, neuro-sparkly children to communicate with them and help settle their energies within the quantum field. Because of my deep experience and the need to re-parent myself to support my own neuro-sparkly children, I often have clients whose own inner children surface during our sessions.

They sense and respond to this Wise Woman and Mother energy I’ve cultivated within myself—and which I am still very much a student of.

I have also deepened my work, collaborating and partnering with two beautiful souls, Katy Gilmour and Tara Whitaker for group quantum healing sessions.

The energy I inherently hold, and which my clients have reflected back to me, is one of safety, calmness, and a sense of deep peace. This exists in my field, and also transits through my voice.

As a healer and guide, I journey with you into those deeper, darker places of your soul and hold heart space and compassion. For these are those places we try to hide or tuck away, those areas we dare not shine a light on because the fear or shame or guilt is simply too great.

I hold that light for you to follow these different threads of yourself, of these different soul fragments, the deeper story and wounds that need to be acknowledged, loved, cared for.

Only you can heal yourself… but you do not need to walk alone.

My intention is to guide you, to teach you, to partner with you until you reach the point where you’ve become your own guide and healer.

Understanding the World Beyond What We Can See

This, ultimately, is what an intuitive does—putting the logical, thinking mind to the side and tuning in with their five senses and beyond…

What information, message, or wisdom is waiting to come through? To be seen? To be shared?

The intuition comes in without necessarily knowing where it came from or how it got there. It can be undefinable, even mystical.

It is the realm of the right brain.

It is the language of nature, of the cosmos.

As with everything I have shared, this intuitive knowing really began to reopen with the birth of my children and the need to ‘listen’ beyond spoken words, but my actual practice and training in this deepened in 2020 and continues to this day.

It is the journey of healing, of knowing my inner self, which has allowed my intuition, my ability to tune in to that which is outside of myself, to develop, grow, and flourish.

My work with the land, as an Earthkeeper and geomancer, is ever evolving.

Each month my children and I leave the mega-city of Los Angeles and return to nature, to center and ground our highly sensitive antennas, to support my son and his need for this connection to the Earth, but also to be in service to our Earth and our Earth Mother.

We walk the Earth.

We witness the hurt and pain still held by the land. Sometimes this involves quantum clearing and light language, sometimes it is simply by being in joyful presence with my children that we bring healing and lightness.

It is also my conscious work and connecting to the Net of Light, and anchoring this light into the places I stand and walk on.

Being an Earthkeeper is a very important aspect of my Work, which I felt since I was a child, and is part of my soul’s vocation this lifetime. I never know what to expect until I arrive at a place, to see where I am meant to go, what is meant to unfold, and exactly what I space I am asked to hold…

An honor which I gladly hold.

When I go into Nature, when I connect with the Earth, God speaks. Our Earth Mother, speaks.

She is often one of the voices that I channel, as well as the Grandmothers.

I am a student of the elders.

My first teaching came with my own grandmother, Emma, who passed at age 100 in 2021, and who my children and I were blessed to be with her both in her care and eventually her transition from this plane.

I work deeply with the Great Council of the Grandmothers and the Net of Light, which was brought through by Sharon McErlane 30 years ago. I have received the Grandmother’s Empowerment, which I offer to others for free. I am a Beacon in the Net of Light community and hold monthly online meetings.

The Grandmothers continue to come through me as a channel, which I share with others as they direct and guide me.

Some of our greatest teachings come not from teachers, but living life.

I am a student of non-violent communication and conscious parenting, both of these techniques and an energy resonance I had to adapt in order to meet the needs of non-verbal children when they were younger.

All of this has lead to my parenting lifestyle and way I now educate my children as a homeschool mom.

As I embodied this work, as I learned, I became a bridge for Sean, grandparents, and close friends as well to adapt to this new way of relating with our children.

I am a space holder and facilitator for 1,000+ online network of homeschooling families for the area we live, which includes in-person meet ups for nearly four years. This has given me deep experience in conflict resolution, to truly listen and hear another (especially in disagreement), and yet hold the main tenants of the network, which includes inclusivity.

There’s a dance and flow to holding these core tenants and also allowing others the space to explore and to create the homeschool community that works for them and their family.

For the past eleven years I have supported parents of neuro-sparkly children.

I do this in online communities as well as our homeschool network, and in a more professional capacity since 2021. I help parents to see other paths to education and learning—some children truly came here to learn different lessons than just what is taught in schools.

Can we honor this as parents and teachers?

How can we do this?

I offer guidance on just that, as well as how parents can build a loving, supportive community for themselves and their child. A child may be energy sensitive and I help a parent learn what those sensitives are and how to support them.

Most importantly: I validate and witness the parent on their sometimes quite painful and lonely journey.

I offer coaching for parents who are transitioning from a conventional school and education approach to being more aligned with intuitive life-learning and self-directed education.

I am trauma-informed, not through formal training but through my life experience as a mother of children who were often not understood or seen as who they truly were.

This was my deep initiation into learning how to speak to others, to not be the cause of the same harm that was done to me, especially by medical professionals when I was at my most vulnerable.

I have also witnessed spiritual teachers and mentors who have claimed to be trauma-informed repeatedly do the opposite and create deeper harm to students, as well as myself.

I am a storyteller—not just with written words or my voice, but also a storyteller of the energies.

I weave together the larger story of what’s unfolding on our planet, in the solar system from the Sun and space weather, the astrology, my children, the land and nature. I listen to the stories of the people I am in relationship with—what are the similar themes and resonances? Is there a correlation to the current astrology?

I sit in communion with these energies, as an intuitive and channel, to share with you what is coming through.

I have also been graced with the opportunity to sit beside my grandmother as she transitioned from her body, with my two young children witnessing. Every so often I am graced with the opportunity to hold space for others who are helping their parents or loved ones to transition, to hear them, to see them in both their grief and the sacredness of what this moment actually means.

My life’s calling before I became a mother, was as a writer. I am professional writer, of both fiction and nonfiction.

My writing has garnered praise both from readers and professional writers. Readers love my characters and the emotional grip I engender.

My short fiction has appeared in the anthologies: Pulphouse, The WMG Holiday Spectacular Fiction River: Risk-Takers, Fiction River Presents: Legacies, Fiction River Presents: Readers’ Choice, Deep Magic, and When Dreams Come True. I write fantasy and science fiction, historical mysteries, as well as a softball, contemporary series for both romance and young adult.

I have written nonfiction for publications such as Montana Outdoors, Women in the Outdoors, and Jakes Magazine. In 2009, Inside Kung Fu magazine awarded her with their ‘Writer of the Year’ award.

In recent years I have shifted from my love of fiction writing back to nonfiction, writing and sharing about my journey raising these unique, neuro-sparkly children.

I write about the lessons learned and my own growth, as well as writing about the astrology, the energy of the times we are in, and the unique experiences my children and I have had on our education journey as intuitive life learners.

My intention with all my writing is to offer hope, to be a light in the darkness when all seems lost—which is a lovely wink to the dwarf planet, Varda, a fictional character created by J.R.R. Tolkien, who sits in my 12^th House conjunct my ascendant.
